After a career in Finance, Ellen now dedicates her time to volunteer and consulting work. She has been a champion of Year Up for many years, serving as an academic coach to over 20 students and visiting 6 sites. She also career-coaches veterans through ACP-USA and has served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for two foster children. Ellen’s last role in Finance was as the Director of Corporate Investments, EVP, of Wells Fargo in San Francisco, where she worked for over 13yrs. Reporting to the CFO, her duties included overseeing the risk management, trading and reporting of securities portfolios totaling over $250B, sitting on the 401k/Pension Management committee and helping to formulate and report on the interest rate strategy of the company. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Ellen traded derivatives in New York and London. She holds a B.S. from The Wharton School and is from Cincinnati, Ohio.

Managing Director, CIBC
Matthew Tyler is a Managing Director and Commercial Group Manager within CIBC’s Healthcare Division. In this role he oversees the delivery of commercial lending and banking services to the owners and operators of independent, assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing facilities throughout the United States. Matthew held a similar role with The PrivateBank & Trust Company before it was acquired by CIBC in 2017. During his fourteen year tenure at PrivateBank he also held positions in accounting, finance, and risk management. Matthew received his M.B.A. from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and his B.A. from Coe College. He has been involved with Year Up since 2016, joining the leadership council in 2018, and also provides classroom instruction for Chicago-based non-profits which support financial literacy. Matthew and his wife are the proud parents of three daughters.

A 107 year old organization that is one of the country’s premier executive leadership development and networking organizations. He was recently named to the Diversity MBA magazine’s 2018 Elite List of Top 100 Emerging and Executive Leaders under the age of 50. A Chicago native, Vince is also an entrepreneur and serves on several boards around the City. He is currently the Co-Chair for the Board of Directors Leadership Council with Year Up Chicago – a program that addresses the opportunity divide in Chicago.

Luis has over 15 years hands-on experience in North and Latin American, and European settings, as well as in start-up, multinational, non-for-profit, and board settings.He spent the first part of his career in the insurance industry, transitioning later into the renewable energy and power sector.He currently works at Enel, Italian multinational in the energy sector, where he holds the position of Insurance Director. In this role, he leads the insurance/risk unit of Enel in United States and Canada.Education is one of his drivers. In addition to his wide range of responsibilities, Luis also serves as a Teaching Fellow at Harvard University—Strategic Management, Investing in Emerging Markets, and Hedge Funds.Luis holds a Bachelors in Economics and International Business from ICESI University (Colombia) and a Masters in Management from Harvard University. Fred Mutsinzi is an Investment Analyst at Cambridge Associates where he works closely with Investment Directors to provide investment and capital markets research, analysis, and advice to clients. Fred is a driven professional with 3 years of experience working within the financial services industry at firms like JPMorgan Chase & Co. and KPMG. While at KPMG, Fred served on the board of the African American Network Boston chapter. Currently, Fred serves on the Year Up Leadership Council board and was the first graduate to be a board member. Fred continues to work with Year Up and mentor current students as a way of giving back to an organization that has helped him get where he is today.Fred enjoys outdoors sports and is a huge NBA fan. Fred grew up in Rwanda and received his B.A in Business Communications with high honors from Southern New Hampshire University.

Andrea Catellier joined Goldman Sachs in 2017 as the Head of Market Solutions in the Americas, focusing on digital strategy and strategic venture initiatives for the Operations Division. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Andrea held leadership positions at DTCC focusing on business transformation broadly, and co-headed the automation center of excellence. Andrea’s experience in digital transformation and change management has allowed her to steer the Goldman Sachs Operation Division’s automation strategy and provide ongoing guidance through RPA program maturation. She holds a B.A. in Organizational Communications from the University of South Florida, and a M.S. in Organizational Change Management from The New School. She is a member of Year Up NY Leadership Council, as well as the YU Technology Advisory Committee.

Jemi Shieh previously worked in the Real Estate Private Equity Group at Deutsche Bank for nearly 10 years. After beginning his career in New York, Mr. Shieh helped launch the group’s European operations in London, England and was subsequently integral to the group’s transformation into a third-party fund management business. Following his experience at Deutsche Bank, Mr. Shieh lived in Paris, France before managing a family office and co-founding Le Studio NYC, a multimedia art and photography studio in Brooklyn, New York, with his wife, Laetitia Soulier, where he continues as Executive Vice President. Most recently, Mr. Shieh was Chief Operating Officer of EQC Funds, a New York-based energy infrastructure focused hedge fund, where he was responsible for operations and North American marketing. Mr. Shieh graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California at Berkeley.

Michael (Mike) Stallworth is a Director in Huron Consulting Group’s Higher Education Practice where he advises college and university clients on addressing challenges related to strategy, organization, business operations, and financial management. Mike specializes in innovating program offerings, helping his clients to grow through expansion to new markets or adopting technologies to reach new learners. Prior to joining Huron, Mike was a consultant at Monitor Deloitte, working with a breadth of clients from the private, public, and nonprofit sectors on strategic priorities such as go-to-market strategy, portfolio analysis, management process alignment, change management, and corporate strategy. He also has experience managing a business and working with young learners from his time at Kaplan, Inc. when he worked in a division of K-12 tutoring services. Mike has a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from the University of Richmond, VA, and a Master of Business Administration from Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH.

David Levine has an extensive background in finance and investing. David founded Odin River, a mission-driven investment firm after serving as Chief Investment Officer of Artivest a venture-backed financial technology firm committed to improving access to alternative investing. He joined the founding team of Artivest after working on the investment team at the hedge fund Paulson & Co. He previously worked in private equity and investment banking at firms such as Canyon, PAAMCO, Colony and Lehman Brothers. David holds JD and MBA degrees from Harvard and Philosophy and Finance degrees from Washington University in St. Louis. David serves on the Leadership Council of Year Up New York and has been committed to mentorship since high school. He is an active member of the start-up ecosystem, as both investor and advisor to early stage companies in industries ranging from sustainable energy to modern finance, with a particular focus on working with diverse teams.

Organizational Consultant & Personal Development Coach
Marilyn Dimson-Doyle is an Organizational Effectiveness, Business Transformation and Personal Development Coach. She worked several decades at Fidelity Investments, leading in the establishment of new departments, oversaw systems and product strategy, focused on client delivery and experience, and governed multiple implementations, enhancements and adoptions. During her tenure at Fidelity Marilyn hired numerous Year Up alumni and has since served as a mentor to 4 Year Up students and countless Year Up staff members. She recently won the Outstanding Volunteer award at Providence’s Class 25 Graduation. Marilyn facilitates monthly people manager and leadership education at the Providence site. Marilyn currently supports alumni by organizing the Credit & Home Buyer’s Consultation Program providing alumni the opportunity to receive free consultation and advice from Mortgage Developers from Washington Trust. Marilyn has also stepped into the role as Co-Chair of the Providence Leadership Council, a committee of dedicated volunteers, who support special projects and initiatives to enhance our services to students.
